I’ve tried to keep this site as simple as possible (for your benefit as well as mine!). I hope this website will help my friends and family follow my progress closely. My mum will be updating the blog on my behalf (hopefully a few times / week).

As many will know, I have been struggling to recover from an injury to my left knee. Nothing major, just a cocktail of small problems that are causing me (at times) a little 'discomfort'! I'm confident it will be OK.
Everest has been described to me as 40% graft / 40% science / 20% luck! I have the graft, lets hope my body can do the science and that I get the luck!
No excuses my end, but statistically less than 1 in 4 reach the summit - fingers crossed!
